Gemma has worked in a number of operational and project management roles within the Emerge Aotearoa Group over the past 14 years.
With a master’s degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Gemma is driven by a passion to make a difference in the community and work with people to achieve their potential.
Since joining the organisation as a Supported Employment Consultant back in 2009, Gemma has worked in a variety of roles, including as a service and district manager, in project management, and in various housing roles.
In her position as Emerge Aotearoa’s National Director Services, she oversees health and disability services, housing services and the national practice team.
She is passionate about giving people the opportunity to have a say and says the best part about her job is hearing the outcomes and impact the organisation has had for people.
